Retired Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler has hailed the summer transfer market of his old club and says Brendan Rodgers’ team has a very balanced squad who will try hard to nail down their spots in the starting line-up.
"Full credit to the management and everyone involved in the recruitment process, we've gone out and signed players who can fight for positions all over the pitch," Fowler said, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“You've got the full-backs, the centre-halves, all fighting for places. Nobody is really guaranteed a place, and that's the way it should be.”
“Of course, we all sort of know what our best first XI is, but there are a lot of players who can come in and impress, and who will be hungry to do so as well.”
