Southampton head coach Ronald Koeman is pleased with their capture of Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld who joined them from reigning La Liga champions Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan this summer.
"We knew other clubs were interested in Toby, I'm very happy that he finally chose Southampton," said Koeman, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“He knows me I know him and, okay, the adaptation is a little bit easier for Toby.”
“First of all it's a quality player and we are happy.”
"He shows his qualities from the highest level possible, he will bring a lot of quality in the team and competition for the defenders."
