27-year-old West Ham United forward Mauro Zarate is delighted having joined Sam Allardyce’s Hammers from Argentine club Vélez Sarsfield this summer.
“In Spain you have two exceptional clubs and a third — Atletico Madrid — who did very well last season,” said Zarate, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“But here you probably have eight big clubs. West Ham now have the chance to be up there, particularly with the move to the Olympic Stadium. That is a very important time for this club because the new stadium will bring much more status to West Ham.”
