Ex-Man City Fullback Richards Discusses Fiorentina Swoop
Former Manchester City fullback Micah Richards has talked up his decision to make a switch from the reigning English champions to Serie A side Fiorentina this summer.
“I have been a player 12 years at City. In the past year, 18 months, I have not played as much,” Richards said, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“I had other offers, but the project at Fiorentina was very impressive. I believe that I can help us to achieve our goals, together with my teammate.”
“As you know, I had a serious knee injury…”
“It was frustrating to stay on the sidelines. Zabaleta has played very well in recent years.”
“With Roberto Mancini there was a lot of rotation with the full-backs, whilst with the new Coach there was less space and for this reason I decided to leave.”

Zabaleta: Man City will bounce back against Arsenal
Manchester City right-back Pablo Zabaleta insists they will seek to bounce back in Saturday’s massive clash against Premier League rivals Arsenal following their 1-0 defeat to Mark Hughes’s Stoke City a fortnight ago.
City already lost 3-0 to Arsene Wenger’s team in the Community Shield earlier this season.
“Arsenal are a very good team and it is always a hard game at the Emirates,” said Zabaleta, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“They have improved their squad and brought in some great players to strengthen their title bid, but we are looking to bounce back after the Stoke defeat and we will go there to win.”
“It (Community Shield) was the first game of the campaign and the squad were not all back from the summer or were one hundred per cent fit.”
"We are much stronger than we were a month ago and we will continue to improve and get back into our stride as each game goes by."
