Arsenal Can Handle Giroud Absence, Insists Chamberlain
Arsenal’s England winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is of the belief that they can handle the absence of striker Olivier Giroud who picked up ankle injury during their 2-2 draw with Premier League counterparts Everton last week.
“It is a massive blow for us because Olivier is a great player,” said Oxlade-Chamberlain, as quoted by reliable Agen Bola indo11.com.
“But there are players in the squad who can fill that role.”
“Alexis Sanchez played absolutely unbelievably last night. I did not realise a man as small as him could hold the ball up so well against big defenders. We have got Yaya Sanogo, who is chomping at the bit in training, and Lukas Podolski and Joel Campbell too. We have got Theo Walcott to come back from injury as well. Whoever is playing up front, I am sure they will be confident of filling that role.”
